Hi, you all that have been watching my for halv a year now know about the disaster that happend in Reykjavík middle town, 12 horses and their riders were on ice and the ice broke.. Now you remeber maybe? But yeah, there was a episode on Animal Planet " Uncute and Untamed " that showed this. And its shows everythign very well and its on english.. Its very nice episode but I still get a sting in my stomach couse I know some of the riders and some of the horses and just I feel sorry for all of them..

I wrote a comment on a video on youtube becoause people were saying " this is so stupid those people should die " and more unpleasant things about us icelanders that ride on ice..

Here is my comment, just for you that want to know a little more about this disaster :

I'm from Iceland, and the company that was holding this show they said the ice was thick enough. They had special people to check it. But still, they didn't do their job very well, did they? Its was not the riders job to check it, but ofcoures they trusted people that have checked the ice for them before.. In the middle of everything the riders started to doupt that the ice wasen't trust enough.. And then that happens. Thankful Fjölnir " Iceman " was there.

The "funny" thing is that the company that holded the show was an Insurance company and THEY said " everything is fine " before they all went on the ice with some of the best icelandic horses in the world..

And I know some of the riders, and they all love their horses very much and they would do everything for them..

I still get a "sting" in my stomach when I see this video, and I think mostly everyone dose.
